Diwali arouses the spirit of sharing and oneness. The Festival of Lights was organized by the Indian Religious and Cultural Centre (IRCC).
Diwali involves the lighting of small clay lamps (diyas) in Sanskrit) filled with oil to signify the triumph of good over. It is an occasion for strengthening bonds of friendship and goodwill amongst all people. The Diwali celebration is an example of India’s rich and deep-rooted tradition.
