Gretet and Reynel were both born and raised in Cuba. They’ve been dating for 10 years and engaged since September 2012. Reynel proposed to Gretet on her birthday while they were vacationing in Punta Cana. Gretet fell in love with the Cruz building for its beautiful details, elegance, and romantic feel. It was different. In Gretet’s words “as soon as I stepped inside the venue I felt like I was in a different country.” Their idea was to have a wedding that was elegant and classic. Their colors were purple, cobalt blue and accents in green for their floral arrangements. They had a string trio for their ceremony and saxophone for the first dance. They danced to “How deep is your love.”
